Jul 07, 2016 macOS Sierra 10.12 Developer Preview 2 July 7, 2016 Apple previewed macOS Sierra, a major update to the world’s most advanced desktop operating system, with new features that make the Mac smarter and more helpful than ever. The developer preview of macOS Monterey is now available to Mac Developer Program members. To help make macOS even better, Apple is also providing a macOS Public Beta Program, which gives customers early access to macOS Monterey and invites them to try out the release and submit their feedback.

  1. Developers looking to grab the beta release of macOS Sierra 10.12 need to be registered and enrolled member of the Apple Developer Program at developer.apple.com. As for compatibility, most modern Macs, including the iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac mini, and Mac Pro, are capable of installing and executing the latest macOS.
