Hi,
After installing the new update on XB1 this morning (v 1.0.0.11), my problem with Wreckfest and my Thrustmaster TMX steering wheel hasn't been resolved.
ISSUE
Force feedback causes the wheel to behave abnormally.
DESCRIPTION
The game and steering wheel was working fine, until I tweaked the steering sensitivity setting (+20%). After those changes, the wheel would steer left and right continuously while accelerating - even when not touching the wheel. The force feedback causes this: when reduced to 0%, the problem stops.
When the car is reversed, after a few seconds the wheel makes a sharp turn to the left on its own.
The wheel while accelerating:

TRIED SOLUTIONS
Resetting the controller settings to default hasn't helped. The Thrustmaster TMX Pro has updated firmware. Wreckfest has been uninstalled and installed again. The XB1 was reset multiple times. The controller was unplugged and plugged in again multiple times: when plugged in again, the force feedback doesn't work at all.
Is this a known problem?
Thank you! Can't wait to play normally again.

Added new firmware for the following products:

The T150 lacks the ultimate build quality you get on its more expensive siblings, but maintains a 1,080-degree rotation, solid force feedback, and compatibility with both PC and PS4. I have a TMX and it shows as 'Xbox One Racing Wheel' and it works fine, be sure you have it plugged in BEFORE starting the game. You may want to tone down force feedback to between 45-60% as 100% is way too strong and play with the deadzone/sensitivity settings and go from there. Game works, but still no force feedback, ive done exactly has @cearp8858 suggested with no success, not sure what more i can do to be honest. So try pausing and then unpausing while out on track or go to in game ffb settings make a change to say overall strength then save.

  • A fix for force feedback in certain steering wheel models inadvertently created a bug in the force feedback of many Thrustmaster wheels. The fix will be fixed in the next update. Hopefully once and for all. In the meantime, you can choose an FFB update frequency of 100Hz to prevent these issues in your Thrustmaster wheels.
  • Hi Everyone, I noticed someone mention this exact issue so i thought it would be worth creating a thread. If anyone else has this please reply below. Issue: After playing the game for around 30 minutes (just roughly speaking) the force feedback stops working all of a sudden.

About Joystick, Gamepad & Wheel Updates:

Installing the controller's drivers and utilities allows the system to properly recognize the connected device (either wired or wireless products), as well as to use all of the unit's features, such as force feedback, custom vibrations, and others.
In addition to that, applying the appropriate files lets users configure the controller's functions and buttons, and might even add support for various accessories compatible with the device.
As for applying this release, the steps are very easy: make sure your operating system is supported by this software, get the package (extract it if necessary), run the available setup, and follow the on-screen instructions for a complete installation.
Even though other OSes might be compatible as well, we do not recommend applying this release on platforms other than the ones specified. In addition to that, after installing the software, we suggest performing a system restart to make sure that the changes take effect properly.
That being said, click the download button, get and install the controller's software, and enjoy all its available features. Moreover, don't forget to check with our website as often as possible in order to stay up to date with the latest releases.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
