Read the full changelogThose of you who've played Battlerite are probably familiar gameplay that it employs, which was unique enough to garner the game quite a cult following and a steady increase in popularity. of course, the game tries to follow the current trends and has joined the Battle Royale bandwagon, and that is how Battlerite Royale came to be.This neat title features all the gameplay elements from regular Battlerite which you know and love, but now with different mechanics to fit the Battle Royale game mode.
A familiar game
First of all, if you already play Battlerite, then we can pretty much say you know 95% percent of the game. The graphics are the same, the top-down view is the same, both games feature the same roster of champions, each with the same abilities etc. however, what differs here is that Battlerite Royale takes all of those elements, and gives them a unique Battle Royale twist to them.
Here's where things are different
For starters, Battlerite was known for the incredibly small maps which forced the players to engage eachother early on in a match, which inadvertently lead to extremely short match times. This is where Battlerite Royale takes it in a different direction, as it employed massive maps which are no longer symmetrical in any way, which serve as the battlegrounds where only one must be left standing.
The heroes you know and love
Battlerite Royale shares the same pool of colorful heroes found in regular Battlerite, so if you had a particular main in that game, chances are that he may become your main here as well. The only difference is that now your champion will not start with all active abilities available, instead they will only start with the first two, while the rest of them will only become available by collecting the various boosts scattered throughout the island. Speaking of which, these boosts also contain items which grant passive stats boosts, or provide a brief window of healing.
Battlerite meets Battle Royale
Battlerite Royale has all the elements that you loved (or hated) from Battlerite, but now the matches are longer, they play out a bit differently, and the stakes seem to be higher, which is a feeling befitting of Battle Royale games.
